Job Description

Join our dynamic 3PL company, where you will be part of a team responsible for managing inventory and ensuring the smooth storage and shipment of freight for various companies.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with a team of four to manage and oversee inventory.Look up and print orders based on item numbers, and process these orders through the system.Verify and count inventory in the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory levels.Investigate discrepancies when orders are pulled or received, and track down missing items.Perform stock and inventory movements and adjustments using the computer system.Work independently to account for a set of numbers within a given timeframe.Essential SkillsProficiency in customer service and order processing.Strong skills in inventory control, cycle counts, and shipping & receiving.Ability to use Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma required.Experience in logistics, transportation, or distribution is preferred.Strong attention to detail.Experience working in a fast-paced environment.Work Environment

Work within an office setting alongside four other Inventory Specialists. The role requires regular communication with customers primarily via email, using Microsoft Office tools. You will operate in a fast-paced environment, emphasizing accuracy and attention to detail.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.86 - $17.86/hr.
