One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Inventory & Warehouse Specialist to work on a 12-month assignment in their facilities in Carlsbad, NM.
Summary:
We are looking for an experienced individual to fill the position of Inventory & Warehouse Specialist within our supply chain group based in Carlsbad, NM.
Responsibilities: Completing physical inventory counts to ensure compliance and inventory accuracy on a routine basis. SAP entry of all in and outbound movements for Carlsbad yard and warehouse. Purchase requisition creation for both purchases and subcontracting. Working closely with SCM buyers and operations regarding on hand inventory. Understand and apply all company environmental, health and safety policies and principles. Maintain compliance with proper regulatory and guidelines: SOX, COPAS etc.
Requirements: Experience in Materials Management. Experience with SAP and the Oil & Gas industry. Strong analytical, computer (MS Office suite), and communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build working relationships. Ability to perform independently in both an office and field environment. Flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic, multi-task, customer service environment. Good organization and time management skills. High school or GED required Valid drivers license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required The percentage of travel required for this position is 10% - 15%
