What you'll do: The analyst role will assist the IPR Director with daily tasks and requirements, including but not limited to, the following: RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Inventory Planning & Replenishment Director and branch managers maintain inventory stocking profiles that support customer requirements and ensure world class delivery & service Manage optimal inventory levels at branch locations; maximize inventory turns, while maintaining stock levels required to service customer demand Analyze market trends and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and schedule replenishment orders accordingly Receive and validate incoming requisitions Prepare & place purchase orders Manage cost and address AP to PO issues Prevent & reduce excess & obsolete inventory Answer supplier and customer inquiries Process data entry requests and conduct system inquiries Follow up with suppliers on open order & delivery status Adhere to company’s procurement policies and procedures Manage activities to meet or exceed Inventory Report metrics Respond promptly to internal inquiries Assist in other tasks or projects under the supply chain group including but not limited to inventory control functions What you'll bring: Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma, 5+ years’ experience in distribution business with 3+ years purchasing experience. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs is required, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. Strong Customer Service skills and problem resolution Demonstrated ability to perform and adapt in a changing environment Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter Ability to be effective without immediate supervision Available to travel as necessary for occasional meetings Work is hybrid schedule (3 days in local branch) What you'll earn 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance PTO, company holidays, and parental leave Paid training and certifications Legal assistance and identity protection Pet insurance Employee assistance program (EAP) QXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
