Job Description
The Inventory Planner III will play a crucial role in supporting the purchase order process and managing global inventory within company facilities. This role involves aligning inventory and executing purchase order transactions efficiently, while also managing project-related tasks to optimize inventory locations worldwide. The position requires strong problem-solving skills to address inventory issues using current systems and to conceptualize long-term solutions. The ultimate goal is to identify a candidate who can potentially transition to a full-time position.
ResponsibilitiesSupport and execute the global purchase order process within a 48-hour service level agreement.Manage and optimize inventory locations across global facilities.Assist in ensuring data accuracy for effective tool and process functionality.Oversee inbound shipments, including purchase order tracking, fill rates, operational issues, and vendor communications.Analyze inventory position and SKU performance to determine inventory needs.Execute purchase orders and manage vendor-related systems and reports.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of experience as an Associate Planner or Associate Buyer.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.Experience with warehouse management and inventory management systems.Strong program and project management skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience is highly valued.Experience with transportation and order management is a plus.Familiarity with company-specific environments is advantageous.Work Environment
This position is fully onsite in either Seattle or Sunnyvale, operating Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM PST. The role may offer opportunities for extension or conversion to a full-time position. Candidates will work in a dynamic environment, focusing on data centers and reverse logistics.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
