Job Title: Inventory Planner
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Planner to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in supporting our production and customer demand through meticulous planning and purchasing activities. You will play a key role in managing inventory levels, placing and managing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials.
Responsibilities
Execute purchasing activities to support production and customer demand.Place and manage purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of materials.Support material and production planning across approximately 300 part numbers.Monitor demand and inventory levels to help prevent shortages or excess stock.Work closely with Operations and leadership to align supply with production needs.Maintain accurate data in ERP systems including NetSuite and Oracle.Track open orders, lead times, and supplier follow-ups.Utilize Excel and Microsoft tools to support planning, purchasing, and reporting needs.Assist with continuous improvement of purchasing and planning processes.Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, small company environment.Essential Skills
Strong experience in both Planning & Inventory (role is 80% planning & inventory, 20% purchasing).Experience with NetSuite/Oracle.Supply chain management, schedule planning, production planning, material planning, inventory planning.Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain/procurement.Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Electronics Manufacturing industry experience preferred.Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus as most of the production team is Spanish-speaking.High school diploma or equivalent.Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a growing organization, with a start-up vibe.Work Environment
The office is located in Carlsbad. The role is onsite, but candidates can live anywhere within a reasonable commuting area. Work hours are early: 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The company is family-owned with 25 employees, fostering a great culture and environment for employees. The production employees are mostly bilingual in English/Spanish. The manufacturing/assembly area is located on the second floor, requiring the use of stairs.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
