Job Summary
The Spare Parts Data Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring accurate data management and operational support for spare parts team. This position focuses on maintaining data integrity, managing inventory, creating and updating part numbers, processing purchase orders, and supporting planning and scheduling activities. The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience working with ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
+ Data Integrity: Maintain and improve accuracy of spare parts data across systems.
+ Part Number Management: Create new part numbers and update missing or incomplete information in the database.
+ Purchase Order Processing: Generate and manage purchase orders to support spare parts operations.
+ Inventory Management: Monitor and update inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records and timely replenishment.
+ ERP System Entry: Enter and validate data in ERP systems (e.g., JDE) to support planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
+ Visual Management: Populate and update daily visual management spreadsheets using Excel.
+ Customer Support: Assist in handling spare parts requests, ensuring timely replacement and support for customers.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and accurate documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Inventory, Order Management or Purchase Orders
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
+ Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP and data manipulation.
+ Experience with data entry and maintaining data integrity.
+ Familiarity with ERP systems (JDE preferred).
+ Knowledge of inventory management, order entry, and distribution processes.
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational and clerical skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Skills
+ Understanding of manufacturing and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) processes.
+ Customer service experience in a technical or parts-related environment.
Experience Level
Entry Level – Ideal for candidates with strong computer skills and a willingness to learn in a manufacturing support environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Cambridge, ON.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
Workplace Type
This is a hybrid position in Cambridge,ON.
