Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Inventory Manager to work on site in Austin, TX and support the strategy and introduction of products based on unique and highly differentiated capabilities of a preeminent foundry for semiconductor systems and defense electronics companies. Their mission is to advance the state-of-the-art in critical semiconductor domains such as advanced packaging, and in the process to help restore U.S. leadership in semiconductor manufacturing. They are developing cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing technology that will define future roadmaps of semiconductor devices including logic, memory, 3D packaged devices, including thermal management, etc. The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the inventory—including spare parts, raw materials, and production supplies—to support business efficiency and cost control. This role ensures accurate record-keeping, expiration management, and optimal inventory levels, while collaborating with procurement, manufacturing, and receiving teams to streamline inventory processes.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement inventory control procedures and systems
· Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment with Procurement
· Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
· Coordinate with Procurement and Warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt and storage of goods
· Manage material expiration dates and apply FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices based on commodity type
· Analyze inventory data and generate reports for management
· Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
· Train and supervise inventory staff as needed

Skills and Requirements
· 3–5 years of experience in inventory management leadership
· Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems (e.g., Warehouse Management Systems – WMS)
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
· Preferred: Experience in setting up a new customer or support customer onboarding process
· Experience working in semiconductor industry or related high volume manufacturing industry
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
