Inventory Manager
Description We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager for a Pewaukee, WI area organization. In this role, you will oversee inventory operations, ensure accurate tracking of assets, and optimize purchasing strategies to meet organizational goals. This position offers a dynamic environment where attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and execute annual physical inventory processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Develop and implement purchasing plans that align with operational and financial objectives. • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations. • Maintain detailed records of asset inventory and ensure proper documentation. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory needs and plan accordingly. • Identify opportunities to streamline inventory processes and improve efficiency. • Ensure inventory practices align with company policies and industry standards. • Analyze inventory data and generate reports to support decision-making. • Train and guide team members on best practices for inventory management. • Address and resolve any inventory-related discrepancies or issues promptly. Requirements • Proven experience in inventory management, preferably within a manufacturing environment. • Strong knowledge of purchasing planning and inventory control processes. • Familiarity with conducting annual physical inventory procedures. • Ability to maintain accurate records of asset inventory. • Excellent organizational and analytical skills. • Proficiency in inventory management software and tools. • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with other departments. • Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
