Inventory Financial Analyst
Description We are looking for an experienced Inventory Financial Analyst to oversee inventory processes for multiple warehouse locations. This role involves ensuring accurate tracking, financial reconciliation, and seamless coordination between departments to support customer contracts and sustainability initiatives. Based in Dallas, Texas, this position requires strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to managing inventory operations. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee inventory across multiple warehouse locations, ensuring accurate batch-level tracking and traceability. • Schedule production with European factories, aligning with customer contracts and replenishment needs. • Coordinate inbound inventory receipts, monitoring high-volume activity and ensuring system alignment with physical inventory. • Organize outbound inventory movements, collaborating with logistics teams to support customer sales and invoicing. • Perform month-end inventory reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and ensuring alignment between systems and warehouse records. • Analyze customer ordering patterns relative to contract terms, providing updates and early warnings for variances. • Maintain sustainability databases and ensure compliance with traceability requirements for certified inventory. • Travel annually to warehouse locations to conduct physical inventory reviews and audits. • Partner with accounting, sales, and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy and financial integrity. • Approve vendor bills related to transportation and trucking, ensuring proper documentation and cost validation. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory tracking and reconciliation. • Proficiency in managing inventory across multiple systems and locations. • Strong knowledge of batch-level inventory processes and traceability. • Experience with sustainability initiatives and compliance requirements. • Ability to analyze customer contracts and provide actionable insights based on ordering trends. • Skilled in coordinating logistics and managing vendor relationships. • Familiarity with inventory management software, such as Navision. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
