Responsible for all cycle counts performed in the manufacturing areas to ensure inventory accuracy. This position will require interaction with production personnel as well as other departments such as Quality Control, Engineering, Purchasing, Materials and Shipping/Receiving. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Develop annual schedule of cycle count activities based on business needs

Provide monthly reports to management regarding cycle count results and trends

Coordinate cycle counts with production schedules to minimize disruption

Compile data for cycle counts and reconciliations; prepare spreadsheets and written documentation

Reconcile perpetual inventory records with actual physical count results

Monitor shrinkage rates and provide feedback to operations and quality control

Train new employees on proper counting procedures

Communicate inventory findings to appropriate individuals and groups

Maintain accurate record keeping of all transactions related to cycle counts


Qualifications

High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are necessary

Ability to use basic computer software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred

Experience with SAP helpful
