Job Title: Inventory Coordinator

Job Description

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for customer service and inventory management for assigned customers. The primary duty is to support customers by ensuring accurate inventory stock counts, handling inventory unpacking and storage, and placing orders as needed to maintain appropriate inventory levels.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inventory counts and update inventory levels of on-site customer stock.Work with the customer procurement team to place orders for replacement stock to replenish inventory levels based on pre-determined restocking plans.Unpack and check incoming inventory for accuracy and restock inventory appropriately.Address any discrepancies or concerns through appropriate sales representatives or customer contacts.Provide sales support for the regional sales team, including order entry, order expediting, customer service call resolution, return goods authorization, backorder processing, quote generation, and project-related support.Represent the company positively at all times throughout customer locations.Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work in a self-directed environment with minimal supervision.Effective oral and written communication skills.Working knowledge of ERP and mainframe systems preferred.Ability to learn new computer systems as required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.1+ years of inventory management and customer service experience preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Ability to communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and business partners.Ability to effectively initiate and prioritize workload.

Work Environment

This role requires working in a customer stockroom environment for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly. The position adheres to a business code of conduct and values such as Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.

This is a Contract position based out of Ann Arbor, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
