As an Inventory Coordinator, you will manage daily inventory issues, variances, and ensure accurate reporting and issuing of products. You will work closely with various departments to investigate and correct discrepancies, maintain records, and assist with inventory-related challenges.
ResponsibilitiesManage daily inventory issues and variances, maintaining all required paperwork and records.Verify reported finished goods inventory daily to ensure correct reporting and issuing to shop order packets.Check shop orders to ensure operators have issued the correct amount of product and make necessary substitutions.Close all shop orders using a 4-step process, ensuring completion at the end of every month for accounting purposes.Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to investigate and correct inventory discrepancies.Correct any RF scanning gun mistakes due to errors by forklift drivers or production team members.Conduct weekly cycle counts of various items to research and correct discrepancies.Assist the production team with inventory transaction problems.Communicate with relevant departments, including Quality, for order requirements.Create and distribute shop orders for bulk orders and monitor customer orders.Assist managers and supervisors as needed.Follow safety and work regulations, maintaining departmental housekeeping standards.Prepare and participate in year-end physical inventory counts and audits.Be available to work on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays for month-end close.Attend all company-required training sessions.Essential SkillsMinimum of a high school diploma or GED.Must be 18 years or older.Prior experience in an inventory or production planning role preferred.Excellent communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, and experience with Macola software is preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsBilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.Work EnvironmentThe work hours are from 6am to 2:30PM. The role requires adherence to safety and work regulations and may involve working on weekends and holidays for month-end closures.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $47840.00/yr.
