The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.
Responsibilities:
Removing and logging recalled itemsIdentifying damaged productsPutaway of productTaskingParticipating in Prime/Reserve cycle countsConducting investigations for missing stock and transfersRunning and completing reportsOrganizing emails needing cycle countsMaintaining chase area, including cyclesQualifications:
1-2 years experience preferredAbility to operate all warehouse PIT equipment preferredComfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularlyRadio frequency (RF) scanner and/or voice to pick experience preferredAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shiftMust be able to work overtime with little to no advance noticeAptitude to work in a fast paced distribution environment while meeting hourly established distribution quotas and performance standardsFlexibility/adaptability coupled with good multi-tasking skillsWhat is expected of you and others at this level:
