Inventory Controls Analyst
Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Analyst to oversee and optimize inventory management processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, developing effective inventory control strategies, and supporting the operational efficiency of our supply chain. This role involves analyzing inventory data, identifying trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance inventory performance and reduce costs. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor, analyze, and maintain inventory accuracy across all locations. - Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory levels align with business needs and reconcile discrepancies. - Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency. - Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and procurement teams to forecast inventory needs and optimize stock levels. - Prepare and present inventory reports and metrics to key stakeholders. - Identify and address inventory-related issues, such as shortages, overstocking, or obsolescence. - Utilize inventory management systems to track, update, and manage stock. - Recommend process improvements to reduce costs and enhance overall inventory control performance. - Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in inventory management. Skills and Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. - Proven experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a similar role. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large data sets. - Proficiency in inventory management systems and software, such as SAP or Oracle. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - High attention to detail and a proactive approach to addressing inventory challenges. - Familiarity with supply chain processes and logistics - Advanced certifications such as APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management). - Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.
