Job Description:

The inventory controller gathers information on inventory, accuracy issues, and inventory correction needs. The person in this role will be able to determine root cause of inventory issues, intelligently trace transactions in the ERP system to fix variances and assist with real time validation and corrections on the floor in multiple departments.

Responsibilities:

Should have basic computer proficiency, including effective use of Microsoft Office applications, and be able to quickly learn and navigate the Syteline ERP system as required for this role.Strong ability to follow instructions is essential, along with sound deductive reasoning, solid problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work with minimal supervision.Keep the inventory database up to date by creating new item and location entries, as well as recording current production quantities for both in-process orders and stocked materials.Ensure proper product rotation procedures (First In, First Out) are followed to minimize rust issues and prevent overstocking.Maintain accuracy of the inventory system by performing physical inventories and regular cycle counts, ensuring results align with the Syteline ERP records.

Education: High School

Experience: 12 months

Demonstrated experience in manufacturing inventory control, Tool/Stock Room management.High math skills relating to Cycle Counts and Variance Checks.
