Job Title: Inventory Controller
Location: Knoxville, TN
Schedule: Full-time, onsite | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Additional Hours: Possible, including every other Saturday
Job OverviewWe’re looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Controller to support our shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This role includes both hands-on physical work and computer-based administrative tasks. You’ll help ensure materials and specimens are handled, stored, and documented accurately and safely.
What You’ll DoReceive, document, and organize materials, supplies, and specimens.Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks using computer systems and phones.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with incoming and outgoing shipments.Keep storage areas organized and maintain inventory accuracy.Prepare and maintain shipping records.Follow all safety and PPE requirements.Help maintain the facility and handle biohazard waste safely.Lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.Complete other assigned duties as needed.Required Skills & QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentBasic computer skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsComfortable with frequent physical activity (walking, standing, bending)Occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and bloodborne pathogensPreferred SkillsExperience with SAPPrevious material handling or maintenance experienceMicrosoft Office and data entry experienceKnowledge of inventory tools such as RF scannersShipping and receiving experienceWork EnvironmentThis is a fast-paced, 100% onsite lab environment with frequent interruptions. PPE is required. You’ll work primarily on your feet and may occasionally be exposed to extreme temperatures or biohazard materials.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.30 - $16.30/hr.
