Summary:
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for monitoring the overall process and health of inventory processes. This position will be a key player in continuously improving the efficiency and accuracy of existing inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Drives efficient processing times on all received material and continually improve the processing time performance.
Verifies aging of material in receiving and shipping locations and ensure accuracy of these materials.
Eliminates errors that can impact performance against quality, budget and efficiency of department.
Ensure 3-way inventory match between external and inventory systems
Monitors accuracy of inventory data as well as EDI transmission for on time processing.
Collaborates with Inventory control team to resolve errors and delays in order processing.
Assist FSQA in processing system holds/releases with appropriate Quality Assurance approvals.
Collaborates with 3rd party location to ensure inventory accuracy in chilled and frozen warehousing.
Additional Responsibilities:
Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.
This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of $22.12 to $26.44 per hour.
