Inventory Control Specialist

Summary:

An Inventory Control/Specialist at Pacific Seafood is a key role at the Kodiak location supporting efforts to maintain and optimize inventory control of all stock items. This position involves maintaining inventory levels and correcting any errors and is ideal for someone who has analytical skills, organizational skills, and is detail orientated. This position also provides administrative support and is responsible for performing basic day-to-day functions in the office such as organizing, filing, providing project assistance, word processing, data entry, and support to the Chief Engineer as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Control:Ensure shipping and receiving documentation is accurately completed, entered and filed.Monitor the progress of order and report status upon requestCommunicate with Maintenance Department, and shipping Leads, drivers on order status.Help with physical research on inventory errors.Assure product quality standards are met and inventories are correctly rotated.MaintainX and development of controls and procedures with the Chief Engineer to ensure inventory control process is followed.Perform regular cycle counts on materials and reorder points, asset locationsAnalyze inventory discrepancies for root cause and develop corrective action plan.Match pick tickets to bills of lading for maintenance equipment.2. Procurement Support:Ensure materials purchased will be done on a timely basis and all business transactions are conducted with in a professional manner.Calculate production and PO receive products.Manage documentation related to vendor returns, product transfers, and purchase orders.Reconcile AP to Purchase Orders.Process invoice orders52 week calendar maintenance hours and daily logs3. Administrative Duties and Reporting:Create and manage spreadsheets, databases, and generate reports as needed.Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, processing, and sorting mail to maintain organizational efficiency.Assist with general duties including assisting, Aiding communicating possible team member concerns, daily time keeping, responding to team member inquiries, and other responsibilities as needed. work orders, logs, assigning jobs with Chief Engineer and Maintenance PlannerAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position.
