**What You Can Expect**
The Inventory Control Lead provides leadership and direction to other inventory team members, including training of new hires. Inventory Control Lead is responsible for managing inventory with the aim of controlling costs within budgetary limits, generating savings, rationalizing inventory and maximizing available working capital. This role also manages and maintains the company’s material and stocked product inventory including instrument profiles and locations.
**How You'll Create Impact**
• Responsible for training new team members and providing guidance and direction, leading inventory initiatives as assigned.
• Maintain territory inventory including restock, monitoring costs of territory inventory and generating/communicating regular reporting of systematic data. Uses Inventory systems such as SMS, ZSIS, DCS, Fed-ex programs to loan, receive, ship, issue and monitor inventory.
• Facilitates the return/exchange of expiry dated/calibrated products between warehouse and field personnel, as required. Orders all new instruments.
• Investigates inventory variances and disputed inventory and works cross-departmentally to identify root cause and recommend solutions; responsible for disposition and reporting including brand rationalization and product recalls.
• Manages all communication and administrative functions related to the termination of distributor inventory accounts.
• Manages strategic inventory request and fulfillment
• Monitor and assist with asset placement and recovery through cross functional collaboration with sales and operations
• Manage inventory outflow of loose inventory requests with accurate system logs.
• Conduct cycle counts in offices and accounts.
• Collaborate and troubleshoot with cross-functional departments, including Sales Operations, Supply Chain and Operations to fulfill orders for surgery accurately and on-time. Assist on-site warehouse personnel in manual fulfillment of orders with ‘all hands on deck’ approach.
All duties must be performed in compliance with applicable regulations and standards such as FDA Quality System Regulation and ISO (International Organization for Standardization).

**What Makes You Stand Out**
• Ability to informally lead the activities of others.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and inventory systems used by Zimmer Biomet.
• Ability to manipulate and analyze data to improve inventory mix.
• Organizational, time management skills and strong sense of customer orientation is a must.
• Must maintain a high degree of professionalism during extreme time constraints.
• Demonstrated knowledge to identify Zimmer Biomet product by major product groupings and familiarity with product lines of other divisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to foster positive relationships with all internal and external (sales) personnel.
• Must be able to perform frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping and heavy lifting (50 lbs).
**Your Background**
• HS Diploma or equivalent, or equivalent experience required. 3-5 years’ experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Frequent lifting required, must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• May require vendor credentialing.
• May require participation in an On Call rotation schedule.

• Up to 5%
