Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Spokane, Washington. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who excels in organization, communication, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will play a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency by managing stock and tracking merchandise across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain a positive and focused attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers.
• Handle correspondence with a courteous and thoughtful approach.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and track inventory movement between locations to ensure accuracy and proper stock levels.
• Receive and process incoming merchandise, such as parts, and update inventory records accordingly.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
• Understand and follow the inventory cycle process to support accurate stock management.
• Report any discrepancies in inventory counts or records to the supervisor promptly.
• Uphold company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Attend training sessions and departmental meetings to stay updated on company processes. Requirements • Previous experience in a stockroom or inventory-related role is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook and basic knowledge of Excel.
• Strong communication skills coupled with excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently utilize computers and related software to complete tasks.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking methods and processes, including annual physical inventory.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and contribute to department goals.
• Commitment to punctuality and adherence to assigned work schedules.
