Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for accuracy in inventory management. The role involves collaborating with warehouse staff and handling key administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities: • Process and verify incoming and outgoing shipments, including handling bills of lading and picking slips. • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and audits. • Respond to and manage inbound calls related to inventory and warehouse operations. • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure alignment with system records. • Perform clerical tasks such as data entry and documentation to support the inventory team. • Collaborate with warehouse staff to facilitate efficient receiving and distribution processes. • Monitor and address any discrepancies in inventory counts or documentation. • Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure accessibility and orderliness. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field. • Proficiency in handling administrative tasks such as auditing and clerical duties. • Strong communication skills, including experience answering inbound calls. • Familiarity with inventory systems and processes, including shipping and receiving. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented warehouse environment. • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
