Job Title: Inventory Associate
Job Description

The Inventory Associate ensures that all orders are accurately picked, processed through quality assurance, packaged, and shipped. This role is crucial in verifying that orders are fulfilled correctly before they are shipped, by reviewing packing slips and comparing package contents. Any discrepancies are reported, and incorrect packages are removed from production. Additionally, the Inventory Associate may assist in final packaging if needed.

ResponsibilitiesReview pack lists to ensure the correct contents are included in each package.Weigh, count, and visually inspect materials to verify accuracy of part numbers on supplies, material, and equipment.Determine the appropriate conveyor system by scanning packages, reading labels, and verifying numbers.Pack boxes using various shipping materials, ensuring proper labeling and postage for each shipment.Maintain levels of shipping materials and notify the appropriate party when supplies are low.Box up and seal materials for shipment.Utilize an online exceptions management system to communicate with clients.Collaborate with other fulfillment departments to ensure all eligible packages are sent out.Essential SkillsExperience in warehouse inventory and packaging.Proficiency with RF Scanner and quality assurance processes.Competence in cycle counts, order entry, and Microsoft Excel.Knowledge in shipping, receiving, packing, and filing.Ability to handle loading, unloading, and scanning tasks.Strong computer skills and familiarity with bills of lading.Additional Skills & Qualifications1 year of experience in a quality inspection department for electronics.1 year of shipping experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment involves repairing and refurbishing ATM checkout swipe machines. You will be part of a team of 20 employees working across five different departments to inspect and repair machines, ensuring they are returned to stores in optimal condition. The work hours for this position are from 9am to 5:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr.
