Oil & Gas Industry | Tier-1 Operator

About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to support inventory operations for a major oil and gas operator. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the accurate tracking and movement of materials using SAP, with a particular focus on managing refurbished or returned items through the system.

This role sits within a collaborative and high-performing supply chain function and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment where accuracy and communication are key.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and manage inventory transactions in SAP, including stock movements, transfers, and adjustments

Accurately process refurbished materials, including returns, repairs, and stock reclassification

Liaise with warehousing, procurement, maintenance, and logistics teams

Reconcile discrepancies through regular stock counts and investigation

Assist with inventory reporting, data analysis, and materials lifecycle tracking

Ensure compliance with internal inventory procedures and external audit standards

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as an Inventory Analyst, Materials Coordinator, or similar

Strong working knowledge of SAP, particularly material management (MM/WM)

Exposure to refurbishment workflows or reverse logistics processes

Experience in the resources or heavy industry sectors highly regarded

Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and team collaboration
