Inventory Analyst, Chartwell
UPMC Chartwell is looking for an Inventory Analyst to join their dedicated team! The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for projects related to Inventory Optimization and Demand Planning for all Asset and Par Inventory Locations. The ideal candidate will have well-developed analytical skills, be capable of understanding statistics and other higher mathematical concepts, be detail-oriented, and able to work with a minimal amount of supervision. Additionally, she/he must be able to provide strategic and forwarding-thinking vision to manage inventory. This role will work Monday through Friday, daylight shifts. Apply today! **Responsibilities:** + Partners closely with various UPMC Supply Chain personnel, UPMC Vendors and Hospital Material Managers to proactively improve the accuracy and effectiveness of Inventory Forecasting and Delivery. + Utilizes statistical analysis to forecast future inventory availability based on past delivery trends. + Present sourcing and optimization strategies to management. + Presents cost savings data with supporting detail of projects for management. + Increases efficiency of processes concerning inventory management to more accurately predict available inventory and minimize under-delivery. + Responsible for developing and maintaining target inventory levels by SKU to support the business forecast and UPMC Supply Chain Objectives. + Provides Root Cause analysis in the review of inventory problems outlines and manages solutions. + Analyzes current and historical product usage on an ongoing basis to identify trends; predict future inventory needs and provide business intelligence to upper management. + Develops and executes plans to meet corporate goals and standards by profiling items in the appropriate warehouse location to achieve picking and replenishment efficiencies. + One of the following combinations of education and experience is required: + Bachelors degree in relevant fields and 2 years experience in inventory control, materials management or other related fields is required + Associates degree in relevant fields and 4 years experience in inventory control, materials management or other related fields is required + High School diploma and 6 years experience in inventory control, materials management or other related fields is required **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:** **UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran**
