Intra-Alberta Dispatcher

We’re looking for an on-site Intra-Alberta Dispatcher in the logistics and transportation industry based in Calgary, Alberta.

Our client is a well-established logistics company providing reliable and efficient transportation solutions across Western Canada. They are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatcher to coordinate regional routes within Alberta, ensuring timely and accurate pickups, deliveries, and communication across drivers, customers, and internal teams. This is a fully on-site role in Calgary and an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Intra-Alberta Dispatcher responsibilities:

Dispatch and coordinate a fleet of regional drivers for daily routes across Alberta Schedule and confirm pickup and delivery appointments with customers and Customer Service Representatives Monitor and communicate driver schedules, ensuring compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using Google Docs and internal systems Track route progress and resolve delivery or scheduling issues as they arise Communicate effectively with coworkers, drivers, and customers via phone and email Complete operational and performance reporting in a timely manner Collaborate with operations leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day logistics coordination

The successful candidate has:

2+ years of dispatch or logistics coordination experience, preferably in regional or intra-provincial operations Strong working knowledge of Hours of Service (HOS) compliance and transportation documentation Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (especially spreadsheets) Dependable, punctual, and able to problem-solve under pressure Positive team attitude and commitment to customer service excellence

Compensation and benefits:

 The discussed salary range is $55,000 – $60,000 depending on experience Comprehensive benefits package Full-time, on-site position based in Calgary, AB Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional additional hours as needed
