These procedures are essential for diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. 🔍 What You’ll Do:  Assisting in Procedures: Support radiologists and neurointerventionalists during diagnostic angiographic and complex interventional procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.  Patient Preparation and Monitoring: Prepare and position patients before procedures, remain at their bedside throughout, and monitor vital signs, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel.  Contrast Media Administration: Administer contrast media as per established protocols, aiding in clear imaging during procedures.  Documentation and Post-Processing: Document procedural information, perform radiographic image post-processing, and input procedural charges accurately.  Equipment Maintenance and Safety: Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed, including radiation safety measures.  Patient Education and Support: Provide education to patients and their families about procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort. What We’re Looking For: + Education: High school diploma required. Associate degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited radiology program or a certified/accredited/JCERT hospital based program and credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Associates degree required beginning January, 2015 required. + Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology required. One year previous interventional radiology experience preferred. + Licensure/certification/registration: ARRT and CPR required. Applicable state licensure as required. CI, CV, VI or military health system program preferred. + Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
