Interventional Radiology Nurse
**Responsibilities** Providing education to the patient and family members: Includes ensuring the patient and family members understand the procedure and plan of care before signing procedural consent and providing them with discharge planning/instructions Preparing patients for procedures: Includes checking and verifying vital signs, meds, NPO status, lab results, and medical history Administering medications including moderate sedation Monitoring patient patterns and vital signs during the procedure _We are offering a_ _sign on bonus up to $25,000_ _to hires who meet the eligibility requirements. We also offer additional pay for participation in our clinical ladder as well as referral bonuses, excellent benefits, and relocation assistance._ **Qualifications** + **Minimum Qualifications:** + Diploma in Nursing from accredited nursing program or Associates Degree in Nursing required + Active Registered Nurse Licensure in Arkansas or eNLC licensure with multistate privileges in good standing with the Arkansas Board of Nursing. License must be unencumbered. + 6 months of nursing experience required (New graduates would need to complete a residency program before consideration for this unit) + Basic Life Support (BLS) **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) + Previous nursing experience in Interventional Radiology, Critical Care or Emergency Department **Overview** Interventional Radiology RNs with CHI St Vincent have a variety of skills from clinical to project management.
