Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Neurology Nurse, you will be a specialized expert, providing critical care to patients facing complex neurological conditions and guiding their families through pivotal health decisions.

Every day, you will perform intricate neurological and head-to-toe exams, meticulously monitor vitals, manage specialized drains, administer medications, and collaborate seamlessly with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes for challenging cases like hemorrhages, strokes, and tumors.

Demonstrate competence to performs the core responsibilities of the staff nurse inImaging Services.Demonstrate competency in basic clinical procedures performed in the Imaging Services according to the established nursing policy.Administers medication and IV’s safely, following the “five rights” of medication administration and within the nursing policy.Transcribes and implements physician orders accurately and within nursing procedure time frames and policy.Completes department documentation requirements according to established policy, time frames, and format including; documentation of patient care on medical records, and maintenance of patient charging system.
