Intervention Specialist – Columbus, OH (In-Person) Pay Rate: $50 per hour Hours: 37.5 hours per week Duration: 18 weeks Estimated Start Date: February 2, 2026 Location: Columbus, OH (On-site, School Setting) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist for an 18-week, on-site assignment in Columbus, OH. This educator will work under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator to provide high-quality instructional services to K–12 students receiving special education support. The Intervention Specialist will collaborate with general education staff, participate in IEP planning and implementation, and deliver direct instruction and support aligned with each student’s needs and goals. Responsibilities + Provide specialized instruction and support to K–12 students based on IEP requirements. + Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure appropriate accommodations and interventions. + Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, evaluations, and communication with families and staff. + Maintain accurate reporting and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines. + Offer consultative support and instructional strategies to staff working with students requiring specialized services. + Adhere to all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards of practice. Minimum Requirements + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred). + Valid state teaching certification as required by district or state regulations. + One year of classroom or school-based teaching experience (preferred). + Preferred certifications: + Standard Elementary Teaching + Standard Secondary Teaching + Standard Special Education Teaching + LBS1 Endorsement preferred. + Must meet all federal, state, and local employment and credential requirements. + Current CPR certification, if applicable. + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable. + Current health certificate, if required. + Must be at least 18 years of age. + Education Degree Unlimited Considered Additional Details + In-person role located in Columbus, OH. + No travel required. + 37.5 hours per week.
