As a Software Engineer Intern – Test Automation, you will support the development of state-of-the-art software applications used for analysis of samples with electron microscopes. Your work will help automate testing processes and accelerate discoveries in areas such as new materials, batteries, semiconductors, and drug development.
A Day in the Life
Test new software features and verify bug fixesConvert manual test cases into automated testsCreate, maintain, and execute test automation scriptsSupport and improve test automation frameworksCollaborate closely with Software Engineers and SQA colleaguesContribute to continuous improvement and innovative solutions
Keys to Success
Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering, or similar fieldSpoken English and Czech/Slovak is mandatoryInterest in software testing and test automationBasic knowledge of Python or willingness to learnAbility to identify, reproduce, and describe software defectsInterest in learning CI/CD concepts and modern software development practicesMotivated and eager to learn in a real-world R&D environmentDetail-oriented with a structured approach to problem-solvingGood communication skills
