Job Description

The Central Demand & Inventory Management for Specialty Tires department at our location in Hannover-Stöcken plays a key role within the Supply Chain Management organization, focusing on demand planning and inventory optimization for a diverse range of Specialty tire segments—including Earthmoving, Material Handling, Port Operations, Motorcycle, and Bicycle tires. We ensure the right products are available in the right place at the right time, balancing customer needs with efficient inventory levels. By closely collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing, we help drive supply chain performance and support strategic growth in highly specialized and dynamic markets.

In this exciting environment, we are offering a (mandatory) internship starting mid-July 2025. For the best possible learning experience, the internship should last around 6 months. A combination of voluntary and mandatory internships is feasible

 

Your tasks will include:

Development and design of logistics reports in Power BI, taking into account increasing digitalization and new IT systemsExecution of an independent project and/or continuation of existing projectsParticipation in various optimization projects within the global Supply Chain environmentIndependent monitoring of daily, weekly, and monthly Supply Chain reportingEvaluation of KPI results and their key drivers in collaboration with process owners (plant / headquarters / market

QualificationsStudents (m/f/diverse) in the fields of economics, mechanical engineering, business informatics or related study programsGood knowhow and first practical experience in the field of logistics, Supply Chain and/or traffic sciencesKnowledge of Power BI and MS ExcelGood German and very good English language skills (both written and spoken)Strong analytical skills, independent working style, and high level of commitmentAbility to work in a team, strong organizational and communication skillsFlexibility and creativity
