The internship
Are you passionate about supply chains and understanding how supplier markets work? Curious about how it can help our Commerce activities be more efficient? Do you have an analytical mindset and strong communication skills? Then we are looking for you!
As a valued member of the Heineken Global Procurement Commerce and Business Services team, you will be supporting our Global Category Managers in various procurement activities. Your work will focus on spend analysis, supplier engagement, negotiation preparation, and market analysis.
More concretely, you will:
Conduct spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies. Engage with suppliers to gather information and support contract management (KPIs tracking). Prepare for negotiations by compiling relevant data and insights. Perform market analysis to understand trends and identify potential new suppliers. Support the development and implementation of the supplier relationship management process (e.g. periodical business reviews)During your internship, you will get the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company and work with various countries. The department As a Procurement intern, you will report to one of the Global Category managers for POSM or Commercial Equipment (Fridges, Draught), and your position is based in Amsterdam.

Currently in study for a Bachelors or Master’s degree. Fluent in English. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Assertive, pragmatic, resilient, and a can-do attitude. Strong personality with the ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical skills. Registered in a European (EU) University for the duration of the internship (6 months). Interest and/or experience in procurement and market analysis.

Conditions of HEINEKEN
You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during your onboarding. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU. You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship. Please note that HEINEKEN does not provide housing. You are in possession of a valid citizen service number (BSN).

During your time as an intern at HEINEKEN, you’ll work in a dynamic environment where growing and learning are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we brew your future step by step. In addition, we offer you:
Your starting date is between January 5th and Febuary 1st 2026 The internship is full-time. The duration of the internship is 6 months (it can be extended further depending on performance and personal situation). You are registered at an educational institution. It is a practice-oriented internship. You will be based in the Amsterdam office (next to the Heineken Experience!). You will receive a monthly internship allowance of €650 gross based on a 40-hour workweek You will earn 2 vacation days per month (based on a full-time internship) If you do not have a public transport student subscription, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed
