**THE INTERNSHIP**
An Exciting Challenge awaits at Boehringer Ingelheim Italy! Are you ready to explore the frontiers of Medicine Excellence through hands-on experience?
Join the Medicine Excellence Team (MED-X) for a hands-on internship focused on supporting regulated medical activities, including observational non-interventional studies (ONIS) and Early Access Treatments (EAT) for patients with serious conditions.
You’ll contribute to process coordination, documentation, and compliance, working with cross-functional teams and aligning with global standards. Depending on priorities, you may also support digital omni-channel campaigns to enhance customer experience.
Curiosity, self-learning, and initiative are valued, no prior experience required. The internship promotes a strong quality culture, continuous improvement, and learning from experience.
**Tasks & what you will be learning:**
+ Support in Clinical Study Coordination: collaborating with the team responsible for study operations to assist in coordinating clinical study activities. Contribute to operational processes related to ONIS and EAT programs, ensuring compliance with both local and global quality standards in preparing, reviewing, and archiving documents while monitoring regulatory alignment.
+ Cross-functional Support, within MED-X: based on organizational priorities and the intern’s profile, there may be opportunities to contribute to complementary activities, such as planning and executing omnichannel campaigns focused on enhancing customer experience through digital medical channels.
+ Data&Documents Analysis: refers to the systematic examination of documents, data, and information, including the review and validation of document accuracy, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and protocols. Analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven insights.
+ Critical Thinking: in the disciplined process of analyzing information, evaluating arguments, and supporting reasoned decisions.
+ Networking and Leadership: within our Medicine Department, are fostered through a forward-thinking vision, characterized by strong cross-functional integration, a deep commitment to innovation, and a shared purpose of delivering meaningful value for patients.
**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related fields).
+ Native Italian speaker and good knowledge of English Language.
+ Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
+ Good team working, collaboration and communication skills.
+ An agile and adaptable mindset and a proactive attitude, ready to break new grounds.
