The Opportunity

Digitalization in healthcare is of increasing importance to patients, healthcare professionals, payers and the shaping of healthcare. This Solution Management - Healthcare Insights internship role is part of Roche Information Solutions (RIS), the organization that is accountable for the development and delivery of new digital solutions for lab and healthcare professionals to improve patient care. 

Project Management Support: assist a solution leader in planning, coordinating, and executing cross-functional solutions projects, ensuring they align with strategic goals and are delivered on time and within scope. This includes creating and maintaining project management plans, coordinating the preparation of meetings/workshops, creating minutes and following up on action items with identified stakeholders, etc.

Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research, analyse data trends, and present insights to guide business decision-making and support affiliate teams in identifying opportunities for growth. The focus will be around digital health, in the disease area of diabetes, cardiometabolic, oncology and neurology.

Support the team in the day to day activities: This can include supporting the organization of internal team meetings or events, supporting budget tracking, etc. 

 

Who You are

You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor’s or Master’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of Business Administration / Business Management / International Business / Business Economics, prior to the start date.


Furthermore, you are / have:

A first internship experience in a corporate environment (required)

Professional English (written and spoken) (required)

Proactive and well organized - Good communication skills (required)

Familiarity with the Google Suite of products (Google Doc, Google Sheet, Google Slides) and other virtual collaboration tools (such as Lucidspark/Miro, Trello, Monday) (preferred) 

Familiarity with the use of Large Language Models such as ChatGPT (preferred) 

Familiarity with the healthcare sector and system(s), including diagnostics, pharma, health insurance, digital health (preferred)

Please note, due to regulations, non-EU/EFTA citizens must provide a certificate from the university stating that an internship is mandatory as part of the application documents, and must be continuously enrolled in their university program for the whole duration of this internship.
