During your internship, you will gain a comprehensive insight into the work of a leading international medical technology company, in particular in our research and development team for the development of novel tracking technologies for neurosurgical navigation systems. **Our** **offer** **to** **you** + You will bepartof an innovative research and development team and support us in the development ofnovel tracking technologies for surgical navigation systems. + You will play a key role in the further development of current and future navigation technologies for use in the operating theatre. + You will conductresearch in thecontextofsurgical navigation and use it as a basistocreate an evaluationconceptconsistingofsoftware and hardwarecomponents. + You will havetheopportunitytoactivelycontributeyourpracticalsolutionsto an international medical technology company and towork on newconcepts and innovationsforour navigation portfoliowithyour own ideas. **What** **makes** **you stand out** + You areenrolled in a master'sprogramme in engineering (electricalengineering, computerscience, mechatronics, medical technology) ornaturalsciences. + You have a keen interest in technology and a passion for innovative products. Ideally, you also have an affinity for mathematics and software programming. + You workresponsibly and analytically, andhave a strong abilitytounderstandcomplexsystems (hardware and software) in theirentirety. + You already have knowledge in the field of data processing and electronics, in particular experience with MATLAB or Python (ideally supplemented by C, C++ or similar) is an advantage. + A high degreeof initiative, open-mindedness, communication and team skills, aswellasverygoodwritten and spoken English skills, completeyourprofile. **Duration of your internship** : 6 months (full-time) **When you start with us** : March or April 2026 **Where you will work:** Freiburg (Breisgau) **What you can expect:** Fair pay, holiday entitlement, exciting training and personal mentoring, and flexible working hours.   Diversity is important to us.
