Join us and make an impact on the most secure and reliable systems in the world! **Your role and responsibilities** * Assist in designing, implementing, and testing secure network solutions for IBM Z systems * Analyze and improve network security protocols and architectures * Develop and maintain tools/scripts to support network security operations * Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues **Required technical and professional expertise** * Strong Linux knowledge, especially in networking (configuration, troubleshooting, tools) * Solid understanding of network security concepts (firewalls, encryption, authentication) * Proficiency in at least one programming language: C++ or Python * Good knowledge of network security protocols and architectures (e.g., TLS, IPsec, VPNs) * Ability to work independently and in a team environment **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Understanding of secure software development practices * Basic knowledge of Quantum-Safe Cryptography concepts * Familiarity with CA/PKI infrastructure and/or HashiCorp/IBM Vault * German and English languages fluency IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
