This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to support the technology manager and product manager in developing a solid portfolio of accessories and software that can work with ABB robots. Each day you will support the team ensuring that ABB and customers have a full understanding of the robotics ecosystem. You will also support the team in developing Web interfaces and software solutions that will make our robots easier to use for our customers. 
In this position you directly report to the Global Technology Manager of the Robotics Ecosystem.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid.

This role is contributing to the Robotics Business Area, in Cobot Distribution and Ecosystem division located in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan).

You will be mainly accountable for:

Supporting and cooperating with global technology manager team in activities such as new product launch, market analysis, marketing and communication tools, creating product video material, software development. Supporting designing, development, and testing of Web interfaces to enhance user experience with robots. Based on user input, think creatively, and propose ideas for improvement.

Work with ABB RAPID robot programming language, RobotStudio, as well as ABB’s Wizard easy programming, and web development tools.

Support the development of training materials for our customers.

Work in projects and activities with ABB teams located around the world including China, Italy, Sweden, etc. Support workshops and events in different ABB locations. Collaborate with other engineers to ensure seamless integration with ABB robotic platforms.

Qualifications for the role

You have a background in robotics, automation, software engineering or similar.

You are passionate about front-end development and have a deep understanding of user experience. Programming experience is preferred.

You are passionate about cobots and robots.
