**Your role and responsibilities**
Electronic Design Automation
We are looking for motivated and curious students to join our team as EDA Tool Development Interns. You will work alongside experienced engineers to design, implement, and optimize EDA tools that support the physical design of modern processors in state-of-the-art technology.
What You’ll Do
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand tool requirements
* Design and implement internal EDA tools using Python
* Apply modern code development practices like CI/CD
* Validate and benchmark the tool function on real designs
* Document and present your work to stakeholders
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field
* Strong programming skills (Python or similar)
* Familiarity with chip design flows and EDA tools
* Analytical mindset and attention to detail
* Good communication skills in German and English
