Manufacturing Technology Engineering Tires (MTE Tires) at our Hannover-Stöcken location is responsible for tire construction technology worldwide. We develop new manufacturing technologies, supervise current production across all manufacturing steps and support and optimize the boundary conditions with logistics and IT in order to efficiently and optimally produce our quality products in the factories.

Essential for optimal technology is communication between the plants and with the central areas such as quality, manufacturing, research & development and us at MTE Tires as the central and controlling element in this communication.

Job Description

Digital Manufacturing Technology at our location Hannover-Stöcken is in charge of developing, standardizing and implementing competitive IT interfaces related solutions to all production technology areas in the Tire Manfuacturing plants globally.

Within this exciting work environment, we are offering an internship position starting from October 2025. For the best learning experience possible, the internship should have a duration of 6 months. A combination of voluntary and mandatory internships is feasible, with the mandatory part lasting at least 12 weeks.

Afterwards, it is possible to write a thesis.

Tasks include: 

Support with the implementation of Cybersecurity community worldwide and on delivering the contents in our Connext communityDeveloping Power BI reports for Cybersecurity KPIs and Cybersecurity Office reportsSupporting with scripts in getting data from our current tools and the creation of technology community in Teams, Connext and associated SharepointsHelping with the marketing concept for the community and with the associated community callsSupporting the startup phase of the Technology CommunityAssisting in the preparation of related internal international eventsOptimization of communication in the technology community

QualificationsStudents (m/f/diverse) in the field of Electrial Enginieering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or similar study programsIdeally having a specialization in Business CommunicationKnowledge of Operating Systems and Networking Security ControlsFirst experiences with reporting tools, e.g., Power BICompetent handling of MS Office-applications, Sharepoint and MS TeamsFluent English language skills, written and spokenGerman language skills are a plusGreat communication and networking skillsStructured and creative thinking
