As part of our Means and Methods group within Development & Engineering (D&E), you will play a crucial role in collecting the input, interviewing the project teams, organize the structure and create templates.
The scope of the team consists of a way of working of Manufacturing and Equipment Engineering Community. A large amount of time the team leads complex projects that have an impact on Manufacturing and Customer Service sectors. This makes the work challenging, but very interesting and impactful.
While working on means and methods of our ME/EE community, we are also looking into establishing our best practices internally within the team with a long-term outlook.
During this internship, you'll be able to collaborate with diverse expert team members in gaining insights, analyze the input and identify the common patterns in project management practices. For you, it is a great opportunity to get to know all aspects of ASML, the pioneer of the high-tech industry, gain hands-on experience, learn how projects are managed and even improve upon the current practices.
You will synthesize various content into a standardized knowledge base for a long-term use.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Review previous and current projects means and methods, interview teams.Create a structure based on common patterns.Create a guide with templates that can be used for future projects.Aspects that are touched in the internship:
Guide design and development: Enhance your skills in analysis, setting up structures. Templates development: Apply skills in synthesizing the inputs to result in a general template. Collaboration: Engage with project teams to approach the project from different angles. Company insight: Understand the inner workings of a leading large scale company, gain knowledge of various aspects of project management and building a knowledgebase, contributing to your professional growth.This is a Bachelor or Master apprentice internship for 4 to 6 months, starting as soon as possible.
To be a good match for this internship, you are currently studying towards a Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Project Management, Knowledge Management or related field.
Additionally, you also have:
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
