We are on the lookout for motivated Intern to join our team in Prague to work on Thales solutions in Identity and Biometric Solution. The objective is to participate in the development of a mobile application (on Android) which performs biometric enrollment for face and fingerprint modalities using the phone's camera. The intern will work with different teams who contribute to the prototyping of this application. The student will enhance the existing PoC by adding new biometric functionalities, such as face matching between a selfie and the digital identity photo stored in an electronic passport.

You will work within the innovation team of the technical directorate—comprised of experts in cybersecurity, automation, biometrics, cloud computing, and system architecture.

Mentoring and guidance will be provided throughout the internship.

Most of the communication will be in English (oral and written)

A background in software engineering with a major in mobile development is preferred.
