Job Description
The Mechanical Hardware team located in Katowice (Francuska Street 46) is looking for an intern. The Mechanical Hardware team in Motion Control focuses on designing new products - mainly servo drives (inverters), motors, and ICT (Independent Cart Technology), such as iTrack, QuickStick 150, etc.
The team consists of 7 people in Katowice and is part of a larger Motion Mechanical Team with locations in US with whom we closely collaborate. We use software such as Creo, Ansys, Windchill, Jira, SAP, as well as 3D printing and 3D scanning.
Internship starts in March. We offer you 6-months paid internship program. It is an opportunity to deep dive into the software development environment and development techniques with one of our teams. You will work with full-time employees and industry professionals improving existing products in an Agile environment. During internship you will report to the Mechanical Hardware Team Lead. We offer you flexible working hours with a hybrid work model based in Katowice, Poland
Your Responsibilities:Support engineers locally and globally in 3D modeling and creating technical documentationWork both online and in the office/labAssist the Katowice team in building and testing prototypesSupport the Katowice team in daily tasksThe Essentials - You Will Have:
Availability for at least 20 hours per weekActive student status (for at least 6 months) in the final years of a Master's or Engineering program (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation and Robotics, or related fields)Basic knowledge of at least one 3D design software (Creo - preferred, SolidWorks, Inventor, Catia, NX, or Solid Edge)Knowledge of technical drawingInterest in working with 3D design softwareEnglish and Polish language proficiencyLegal work and stay permits in PolandThe Preferred - You Might Also Have:
