Responsibilities
The Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a board certified internist to provide outpatient medical evaluations in the Preoperative Evaluation Clinic. This position offers an exciting opportunity to participate in a clinic committed to the delivery of excellent perioperative care. Clinic hours are regular without call. A commitment to quality patient care is expected. These positions include an academic appointment with the Mayo Clinical College of Medicine, Mayo Clinic.
Qualified candidates should be board-certified/board-eligible in internal medicine with a desire for scholarly activity. Preference will be given to those candidates with additional year(s) of training in advanced General Internal Medicine (Chief Residency or fellowship) or internal medicine practice experience. Research training through fellowship or a Master’s Degree program is desirable, but not a prerequisite for application.
Demonstrated progressive leadership skills is preferred.
