International Team Member Relations Program Director
What We Offer We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented HR Program Director, International Team Member Relations to lead our international employment compliance and engagement programs. This role will serve as the subject matter expert on U.S. employment visas and provide oversight and guidance to ensure full compliance with all federal immigration laws and regulations. The Program Director will also drive initiatives to support the unique needs of our international team members, ensuring a positive and compliant employee experience from onboarding through continued employment. ➡The ideal candidate is a licensed attorney or highly knowledgeable professional with substantial experience in international employment law and global talent acquisition compliance. 📍This is a hybrid position. Prefer that candidates are located in NC or SC as there will be some travel within our footprint. What You'll Do + Advise on international hiring strategies company wide + Ensure compliance with local labor laws, employment regulations, and immigration requirements + Develop, implement, and continuously improve standardized global hiring processes and compliance frameworks + Monitor regulatory changes impacting international workforce management + Partner with various areas within HR and Legal to mitigate risk What We're Looking For + Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Business Admin, International Relations or related field (5 years related work experience considered in lieu of degree), required. Juris Doctor (JD) preferred + Experience : 5 years of Progressive HR or international immigration experience with a focus on immigration and international team member relations, required. + Additional Skills (require d ) : Deep and current knowledge of U.S. immigration law and employment visa classifications (e.g., H-1B, TN, PERM). Experience working with immigration attorneys and managing external legal/vendor partnerships. Strong understanding of HR compliance, employment law, and international relocation best practices. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain complex immigration topics clearly to a non-legal audience. Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects and delivering scalable HR programs. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion. Why Choose Novant Health?
