International Tax Manager

How you’ll make an impact:

Provide support in the following International Tax processes:

Tax Planning:

Assist with forecasting and scenario planning of NCTI, FDDEI and FTC impactsSupport other modeling and tax research on special tax projects as requiredTax Return Compliance, utilizing compliance softwarePrepare/Review Forms 5471 and 8858 including importation of financial data, calculation of earnings and profits adjustments, analysis of taxes and determination of subpart F, NCTI and FDDEI calculationsPrepare Form 1118, including supporting sourcing and apportionment workpapersPrepare/Review US income tax elections and supporting statements

Tax Accounting, quarterly and annual, utilizing software applications:

Reconcile income tax accounts for select subsidiaries and mini-consolidation of international affiliates, including incorporation into tax accounting softwarePropose journal entries for taxes of international affiliates as neededAssist in process of quarterly and annual information gatheringEnsure tax-relevant data is imported and maintained properly in the tax accounting softwareCalculate taxes on deferred profit in inventoryScreen for subpart F and other US tax elements based on forecast and actual dataPrepare quarterly uncertain tax positions file

Tax Authority Examinations: support for US and international examinations

Training: assist in preparing and providing training in tax return compliance and tax provision reporting to other finance colleagues

Other tax administrative duties as assigned


What you'll need (Required):

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or BusinessA minimum of eight years (Or six years with a Masters) of accounting experience (number of years of public accounting experience may reduce the total years of overall experience required)

Certification in related disciplineForecasting and modeling of US International impacts (NCTI, FDDEI and FTCs)International tax compliance experience required (Forms 5471, F8858, F8992, F8993 and 1118)Experience working in public accounting or industryStrong income tax accounting backgroundFamiliar with Pillar II conceptsTax software experience (Corptax, Longview, OneSource) strongly and confidence working with new technologies;Ability to work with and analyze large volumes of data, including experience with data analytic and RPA tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Power Automate), a plus; andBasic understanding of relational databases and SQLProven successful project management skillsStrong communication skills, self-motivated and driven to make a differenceProven expertise in Microsoft Office suite including advanced Excel (Xlookup, Index/Match, Indirect, and Macros)Ability to develop productive relationships with colleagues

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $167,000 (highly experienced).

The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).  Applications will be accepted while this position is posted on our Careers website.
