International Shipping Clerk
Job Title: International Shipping CoordinatorJob Description

The International Shipping Coordinator is responsible for managing tasks related to the shipment and receiving of materials, supplies, and equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role involves preparing goods for shipment, maintaining accurate records of goods shipped, and handling bills of lading. The coordinator will also compare identifying information on outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records, and post weight and shipping charges while maintaining shipping record files. The ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, is essential.

ResponsibilitiesVerify shipments for accuracy.Prepare domestic and international shipping documents.Schedule pick-ups with freight companies.Package all shipments.Perform inventory control, material handling, and cycle counts.Manage inventory and warehouse packing, shipping, and receiving.Handle international shipping and inventory management.
Essential SkillsHigh school education or equivalent.At least 3 years of shipping experience in the high-tech field.Data entry skills.Experience with electrostatic sensitive procedures (ESD).International shipping and carnet experience.Self-motivated, people-oriented, responsible, organized, and capable of multitasking.Accuracy in work is essential.
Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to handle physical demands including lifting, carrying, standing, pulling, and sitting for long periods.Comfortable using computers, including typing and keying.Ability to carry 20+ lbs.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.50 - $26.00/hr.
