International Private Bank - New Client Development Team Lead, VP

The J.P. Morgan International Private Bank New Client Development Team drives business growth and delivers an exceptional experience to potential leads, prospects, and clients. 

Through a data driven, forward-thinking approach, the team collaborates across Europe and Asia to identify new leads for Private Banking advisors.  

 

As the New Client Development Team Manager, you will lead the planning and implementation of innovative client acquisition initiatives, leveraging paid media campaigns and strategic sponsorships in partnership with regional Leadership and the Marketing Team. 

In addition to overseeing a team of New Client Development specialists, you will ensure that every lead receives a personalized introduction to J.P. Morgan International Private Bank, working closely with Advisor teams to maximize engagement and conversion. 

This client-facing role demands transformational leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a true enthusiasm for elevating the client experience. 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

Business Development: Design and implement targeted client acquisition campaigns, customized for specific markets and demographics to drive growth and expand the client base. Partner with Marketing and Media Strategy Team to plan, assess and optimise campaigns. Client Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with Private Banking leads through proactive outreach, ensuring every interaction exemplifies the Firm’s commitment to excellence. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Forge strong partnerships with Market Managers and stakeholders across the Firm to deliver a seamless, consistent, and high-impact client experience. Reporting & Insights: Analyze business development activities and provide insightful reports on plans, engagement, and conversion rates to Senior Management. Offer data-driven recommendations to inform strategic decisions. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of specialists, fostering professional growth and a culture of excellence. Risk & Controls: Uphold rigorous standards for risk management, regulatory compliance, and security, including adherence to Cross Border and Privacy policies across regions.

 

Required qualifications, responsibilities and skills: 

Minimum 7 years of experience in a client-facing business development or marketing role; Financial Services or Fintech experience preferred. Outstanding interpersonal, multicultural communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively. Successful talent development, team motivation and leadership. Self-motivated, with a proven ability to influence, build, and sustain strong partnerships. Strong program management, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Fluency in English required; proficiency in German, Italian, or French is highly desirable.
