Job Description:

World Vision Lesotho (WVL) seeks dynamic and experienced ILO-certified SIYB Trainers to deliver technical entrepreneurship and business management training as part of the Economic Inclusion Package under the Pathways to Sustainable Livelihoods Project (PSLP). The trainers will work closely with local coaches, youth, women, and persons with disabilities to build their entrepreneurial skills and improve their ability to start and manage micro-enterprises using the SIYB methodology. The trainers will be supporting the districts of Maseru, Botha-Bothe, Qacha’s Nek, Mokhotlong and Thaba-Tseka on a short-term contract (3 months, renewable based on performance and availability of funding).

Key Outputs/Responsibilities:

Facilitate Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions for up to 200 local business coaches in the ILO SIYB methodology.Deliver modular entrepreneurship training (Generate Your Business Idea, Start Your Business, Improve Your Business) adapted to local context and literacy levels.Support development and contextualization of training materials and manuals aligned with WV and ILO standards.Ensure that training is gender-responsive and inclusive, particularly for women and people with disabilities.Monitor and assess learning outcomes of coaches and beneficiaries.Provide mentorship and post-training support to coaches and groups to ensure continuity and application of SIYB principles.Ensure compliance with safeguarding, Do No Harm principles, and social inclusion policies.Contribute to training reports, lesson learned, and best practices documentation.

Qualifications (Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills) and Experience:

ILO SIYB Certified Trainer or Master Trainer (attach certificate).At least 5 years of experience facilitating business development/entrepreneurship training using the SIYB methodology.Demonstrated experience in facilitating Training of Trainers (ToT) in entrepreneurship or livelihoods programs.Strong understanding of adult learning principles, gender-responsive training, and low-literacy training techniques.Fluency in Sesotho and English.Experience working in rural settings and with vulnerable populations (youth, women, PWDs).Excellent facilitation, communication, and mentorship skills.

Other Attributes:

Ability to use digital tools for training and monitoring (e.g., tablets).Experience working in donor-funded projects (e.g., EU, World Bank).

Working Environment / Conditions:

Frequent field travel to five districts and rural community councils.Flexible hours depending on community schedules.Occasional weekend training sessions.

REMUNERATION: Competitive with market standards
