International Government Head of State – Single Access Point Systems Engineer (Mid-Level)

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Mid-Level Single Access Point Systems Engineer within the Executive Transport Services and Support (ETS&S) division in Oklahoma City, OK.

The Boeing Company Oklahoma City (OKC) site performs major modernization and modification of aircraft across a broad portfolio of military products, including bombers, advanced sensor aircraft and executive transport aircraft. 

Position Responsibilities:

Develop integrated plans, establish and lead teams, monitor and respond to technical developments, risk management, and manage all aspects of projects to closureApplies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutionsManage the system, subsystem and component level requirementsExercises critical thinking and innovative problem solvingEvaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfacesPrepare and present technical documentation and reports for delivery to customersPerforms various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture Identifies, analyzes, and assesses regulatory and contractual compliance of aerospace systems, products and servicesCollaborates with internal and external stakeholders to define, validate, and integrate airworthiness and regulatory compliance requirements; incorporates into designs, operations, and procedures.Reviews regulatory and customer requirements and evaluates impact to company products and servicesAnalyzes regulatory and certification technical data for completeness and alignment to applicable regulatory and contractual requirements.Develops compliance statements for the airworthiness of aerospace systems and products.Supports partnering with regulatory authorities to complete validation of airworthiness to applicable requirements as authorizedDevelops, reviews, and maintains compliance reports and documents in accordance with applicable requirements and regulations

This position is 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.Experience working across multiple engineering disciplinesExperience as a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills, and a focus on translating technically complex issues into simple, easy to understand concepts3+ years related systems engineering work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Active security clearanceExperience with Military or Commercial aircraft design and/or analysis experience within Airframe, Flight Sciences, Interiors, Propulsion, or SystemsExperience with delivery and certification processes, working with FAA regulations, and Regulatory AdministrationExperience of how to derive and allocate requirements (e.g., system, sub-system, software) and show traceability throughout the product lifecycleExperience working across multiple business units and/or complex organizationsExperience with leading major design changes through multiple phases of product lifecycleExperience communicating with senior leadership and program customers

Summary Pay Range: $90,950 - $123,050
