+ Hourly Rate: $40–$50
+ Annual Salary Range: $68,640 – $104,000
+ Per Diem: $60/day for travel days
+ Paid lodging and travel
**Job Description:**
As a Field Service Technician, you will travel to customer facilities worldwide to install, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized wood fastening machinery. This role requires expertise in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. The majority of your work will focus on system upgrades, with additional responsibilities in installation and general maintenance.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Install and configure new machinery at client sites
+ Conduct operational and safety training for customer personnel
+ Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
+ Perform routine and emergency maintenance
+ Document service activities and equipment modifications
+ Provide remote assistance via phone, video, and digital tools
+ Occasionally assist with equipment relocation and upgrades
**Job Requirements:**
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in field service or maintenance
+ Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and electrical systems
+ Ability to interpret technical blueprints and schematics
+ Must be able to obtain a passport and travel internationally (including Canada)
+ Willingness to travel 75–100% of the time
+ Comfortable working in industrial environments such as sawmills and pallet production facilities
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $104000.00/yr.
